| 22 cases settled in Lokadalat at Kishtwar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, Nov 16: A special Lok Adalat was organised in District Court Complex Kishtwar. The Lok Adalat which was presided by ML Manhas, Chairman District Legal Services Authority Kishtwar and assisted by Chief Judicial Magistrate Ashwani Kumar Sharma and Munsiff JMIC Vinod Kumar.
As many as 30 cases of different nature including matrimonial were taken up before the Lok Adalat , out of which 22 cases have been settled on spot by mediation , conciliation and negotiation, besides an amount of Rs. 5100 was also realised as fine from traffic violators and other cases.
The Lok Adalat was attended by President Bar Association Kishtwar, Bar members, Senior Prosecuting Officer Kishtwar Temoor Jahangir and other prominent citizens besides litigiants.
