| Legal awareness programme organised at Ashiana orphanage | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, Nov. 16: The Principal District and Sessions Judge Kishtwar, Chairman District Legal Services Authority M L Manhas, organized legal awareness programme in Ashiana Orphanage Kishtwar and in Government High School Drabshalla.
Apart from students, a large gathering of people from cross section of society participated in the programme. M L Manhas apprised the gathering about their legal rights regarding Child Marriage Restraint Act, Child Labour Act and aims and objectives of Legal Service Authority Act 1997.
The resource persons including Kuldeep Sharma, Advocate, Vice president of Social Reforms and Charitable Organisation (NGO) apprised the people about the concept of Lok Adalats which provides speedy and inexpensive justice to the people.
On this occasion free pamphlets and booklets were distributed among the participants.
