| JK Bank commissions ATM at Noorbagh | | | EARLY TIME REPORT
SRINAGAR, Nov 16: Amid large customer presence, J&K Bank commissioned yet another ATM terminal at Noor Bagh here today.
The ATM was inaugurated by the Executive President of the Bank, Ajit Singh, at a simple but impressive function. J&K Bank’s Zonal Head, Kashmir (Central), Abdul Hamid Banday was also present on the occasion. Mohammed Younus Pattoo, Cluster Head, Mohsin Hassan, Head, business unit, Noorbagh and the staff members of the Bank were also present on the occasion.
Soon after inaugurating the ATM, Ajit Singh, Bank’s Executive President extended Eid greetings to the people. He said, “Eid festivities have already started and I wish a very happy and prosperous Eid to all of you”.
Urging people to take a cue from the J&K Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Singh insisted upon the need for being sensitive towards the economically backward sections of the society.
“The message of this particular Eid is a blend of love and sacrifice. Love the people and share your hard-earned earning with have-nots around you”, Singh said.
Emphasizing on the need to ensure the privacy of ATM password, he said, “This small plastic card (ATM Card) ensures that your money is in your pocket anytime, anywhere. But the only thing you need to ensure is the privacy of your password”.
Singh assured Bank’s full cooperation to its customers, especially the business community. The customers thanked the Bank’s management for establishing an ATM in the area.
