| DC Jammu inspects food establishments | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 16: Continuing its drive against profiteers, Deputy Commissioner Sanjeev Verma Jammu along with Naib Tehsildar and Executive Magistrate Ist Class Satwari Rajesh Kumar and Food Inspectors of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Assistant Director and Inspectors of CAPD inspected about 85 establishments.
During the surprise inspection and realized compound fee of Rs 2900 from 13 defaulters under Municipal Corporation Act PFA 1954.
CAPD officials realised Rs 6000 from 22 establishments including meat/chicken shops, sweet shops, restaurants, tea stalls and other establishments of essential commodities on the eve of Eid festival.
