Inculcate moral values in children: Chib asks teachers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 16: Describing the 21st century as the era of the children and youngsters, Ministeer for Medical Education R S Chib called upon the teachers and parents to inculcate the values of hard work, sincerity, dedication, honesty and truthfulness among the children to equip them to effectively face their future responsibilities of nation building. Addressing the Annual Day function as part of Children's Day celebration organised by the Ranjit Memorial High School at Barnai here today, Chib impressed upon the children to put in hard work to achieve excellence in their lives. He added that nothing is impossible to achieve in life provided one sets the goal and then work hard to achieve it, with dedication and sincerity of purpose. He advised the children to achieve first position not only in education but also in other field of life. The Minister paid tribute to Jawhar Lal Nehru and Ranjit Singh and lauded the role of the founder of the school and recalled his contribution in facilitating the education to the children. He also announced Rs 10,000 to school fund for encouraging the young students. Chib appreciated the scintillating colourful cultural programme presented by the students on the occasion comprising folk and patriotic songs, yoga and judo-karate.
