| Woman among 2 killed in road accidents | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 16: Two persons, including a woman, were killed in separate road accidents here Monday night. Police sources said Sachin Gupta (25), son of Rajinder Gupta, was on his way home at Mast Garh here when the Tavera he was driving hit a stationary truck at Sarora late at night.
He was found lying dead in the Tavera at about 5 am today by some morning walkers.
After the matter came to their notice, police evacuated the body to the Vijaypur hospital where post-mortem was conducted on it.The body was later handed over to his family for last rites.Bano Begum, wife of Noor Mohammad of Batalwalian, Udhampur, was injured on being hit by some unknown vehicle at Bishnah. She died in the GMC hospital.
Cases in this connection stand registered at the concerned police stations. |
