| Court directs DGP to produce girl | | Inter-community Marriage | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 16: The high court today directed the Director General Police (DGP) to produce the girl and her mother in the much publicized inter-community marriage. The court also issued notice to the SSP Jammu to show cause why contempt proceedings should not be initiated against him.
Justice JP Singh took serious note for not producing the girl and her mother in the Court and issued notice to SSP Jammu that neither girl was produced in court nor SSP appeared to explain his position. He directed DGP J&K to produce the girl in the court on the next date of hearing. It is worth mentioning here that the court had directed the SSP Jammu on November 11, 2010 to make all out efforts to trace and produce Priyanka Pandoh alias Shaheen Khan in the Court on the next date.
