4 die, 2 injured in road mishaps | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Nov 17: Four persons including an Army Jawan died and two others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir. The Maruti Car bearing registration number JK01K-4462 hit a cyclist namely Bashir Ahmad son of Mohammad Khalil resident of Machwa at Bagh-e-Mehtab falling under the jurisdiction of police station Chanpora, Srinagar, resulting in on the spot death of cyclist. The Police have registered a case against in this regard. A Wagon-R bearing registration number JK01L-7543 driven by Fayaz Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Mujgund Srinagar collided with a Scooter bearing registration number JK04-6108 driven by Javaid Ahmad Lone son of Abdul Gaffar resident of Hanjiwara Pattan on National Highway near Lawaypora, Srinagar falling under the jurisdiction of police station Parimpora, resulting in critical injuries to Scooterist who later succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital. Police has registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile, a gypsy bearing registration number 08B/100187N of 5 JAT Regiment fell from Dat Bridge, Kupwara falling under the jurisdiction of police station Keran and collided with a tree, due to which one NCA jawan namely Vikas of 5 JAT and one civilian namely Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din son of Abdul Rehman Teli resident of Drugmulla Kupwara died on spot. Also one NCA jawan namely Ragbir and a civilian namely Ali Mohammad resident of Drugmulla got injured. Injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
