| Khajuria reviews ‘Mahayagya’ arrangements | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 18: To ensure adequate supply of drinking water and electricity during the forthcoming 11-day-long Mahayagya to be organised under the aegis of Sant Bal Yogeshwar Maharaj in the river bed, BJP MLA from Jammu East Constituency Ashok Khajuria, alongwith district president Rajesh Gupta got a number of works started on the bank of the Tawi.
Work on laying of large diameter pipes commenced and would be completed within very short period. Another work of erecting poles and extending supply line for uninterrupted and round the clock supply of electricity to the Mahayagya site was also got started today.
Ashok Khajuria said that Sant Bal Yogeshwar Maharaj is doing a noble service to the humanity by organizing such mega religious function in the city of temples and it becomes our duty to extend every possible help in making the Mahayagya successful.
He said that such big events attract thousands of pilgrims and there becomes a dire necessity to make available basic amenities in an around the premises. It is in this context that new water pipes are being laid, poles and wires for regular supply of electricity are being fixed.
