| KD expresses concern over deteriorating situation at Bus Stand | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 18:Amarjeet Singh State Youth General Secretary and Akhil Gandotra Secretary of Kranti Dal expressed concern over the situation of the Jammu General Bus Stand.
In a press statement issued here today, Kranti Dal leaders said the bus stand is full of dirt all over, and unauthorized vehicle parking, there was no drinking water facility and no facilities of the toilets for the thousand of daily commuters.
They further said that the Jammuites have to cut a sorry figure before the tourists, visitors and pilgrims pouring in for Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra in the city of temples.
They said that the management of the bus stand has been entrusted to the JDA (Jammu Development Authority) but it has failed to pay attention to the problems existing there. He appealed JDA authority to come forward to develop the bus stand.
On this occasion, Manpreet Singh, Vijay Kumar and Rajeshwar Singh Jasrotia joined the Kranti Dal party and recognized its workings and programmes.
Those who were present on the occasion were Pritam Sharma, Rajinder Bhagat, Sankul Gupta, Jagjeet Soodan, Lovely Soodan, Mahan Singh, Vijinder Singh Dutta and Deepak Sobti.
