Shifting of slaughter house demanded | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 18: A joint meeting of Sangram Sena and Dogra Liberation Front was held today under the chairmanship of President of Sena Ram Rattan Raina, and President Dogra Liberation Front Rampal Sharma,. During the meeting, present policies of coalition were discussed in which it was observed that the government was least cared for the Jammu ties instead have engaged the public in unwanted affairs of politics. In the meeting, shifting of slaughter house from Dogra House, Opposite Shiv Temple was discussed. In a statement here today, Ram Rattan Raina said that the Sangram Sena has been fighting since long for shifting of slaughter house from Dogra Mohalla to some other place outside the limits of Jammu. He said existence of slaughter house at Dogra Mohalla has affected the sentiments of the Hindus living in the vicinity, and that the temple was existing in front of the slaughter house. Ram Rattan Raina urged the Chief Minister and Jammu Municipal Commissioner to shift the slaughter house from the existing place to some other place outside the Jammu city. Among others who attended the meeting included Capt. Ratt Songh Langeh, Rakesh Langer, President Ward No.10, Akram Khan, Aziz Khan, President Ward No. 6 Gujjar Nagar, Yoginder Joshi, Ajay SinghCharak, Rahul Singh Chowhan and others.
