| Educational tour flagged off | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 18:In its endeavour to promote national awareness amongst the youth, an educational tour for children was flagged off from Tithwal Brigade at Narian today . The children will visit Jammu-Ahmednagar-Pune-Mumbai as part of this tour. The 16 day tour has been organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion of Tithwal Brigade under Sadhbhavana Project.
The tour was flagged off by Deputy Commander Tithwal Brigade, amidst a large gathering comprising of children, parents and prominent civil administration officials. The children and their parents thanked the Army for organizing the tour which would expose the children to different cultures and development taking place in the country. The tour will be flagged in on December 3. The students will be given an opportunity to interact with important civil and military dignitaries which will be a source of great motivation and inspiration to them.
The Commanding Officer of Rashtriya Rifles emphasised that it was a life time opportunity for the children to have such a rich, educative and joyful experience by visiting these places and advised them to share their experiences with their friends and family members on return.
