REZ employees stage dharna in protest for regularization

Kathua Nov 19: All the Rehbar-E-Ziraat employees staged one protest Dharna under the leadership district president of Agriculture Technocrat Association Kathua Sanjeev Verma against the coalition Government for adopting callous attitude for framing the SRO to regularize 2800 R-E-Z employees of the state.
While addressing the gathering the president Sanjeev Verma, chairman Vinod Sharma gen.secretary Joginder Singh and Rajinder Singh said that most of the R-E-Z employee have gone over age and suffering from various fatal physical psychological problems due to mental stress and depression which are caused by the ill and handicapped promises and assurances for their regularization given by the Chief Minister Omar Abdulla and its government allies.
The president said that the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah personally had given thousands assurances by calling the executive committee of the Association in his own chambers in Civil Secretariat Srinagar and Jammu also to regularize all the R-E-Z employees in very short period to secure the valuable potential and skill of theses highly professionally qualified agriculture technocrats which is the need of the hour to uplift the development of the state agriculture sector on large scale.
Verma stressed that then why the coalition government is doing lame excuses to release the SRO for regularization and putting the future of 2800 technocrats in darkness and without hope to live with dignity and social respect.
The R-E-Z employees further proceeded in procession from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park to Kathua secretariat and submitted a demand charter (carrying the demand of regularization of 2800 R-E-Z) to Government of Jammu and Kashmir through Additional DC Kathua Rohit Khajuria. In the protest dharna and procession chairman Vinod Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Raju, Ravi, Raj Singh Sanjeev Pathak, Raman (Billawar) and others were present.
