| DM bans parking outside educational institutions | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, NOV 19-District Magistrate (DM), Jammu, Mr Sanjeev Verma has ordered that no vehicle shall be parked outside schools, colleges and institutions which have open ground/spaces available which can be used for parking.
This has been done in view of the facts that Jammu city is facing acute congestion and requires immediate measures to ensure de-congestion of specific areas.
DM has observed that the factor causing complete blockade of roads is the parking of vehicles at road side outside educational institutions during morning and afternoon (opening and closing) hours and quite a few of these institutions have open space within their premises which can suffice for parking of vehicles. Any violation in this regard shall be seriously viewed.
