JJSF team reviews problems faced by students

JAMMUNOV 20: A delegation of Jammu Joint Students Federation (JJSF) visited Kathua district to assess various problems being confronted by students’ community. Later, District body for Kathua was also framed by election process under the supervision of senior JJSF leader Bhanu Partap Singh .
On this occasion, Vikram Chandan was unanimously elected as District President. Abishek Sharma as Vice President, Madan Lal as Working President, Vishal Verma as Secy, Munish Sharma as general secretary, Yougal Sharma was elected as joint secretary and Shalinder was elected as kathua distt. Chairman.
Addressing the gathering, its vice president Partap Singh Jamwal said that the drug addiction in Kathua district was increasing at rapid speed, thus spoiling the future of society. He stressed the workers to get united for the fight against the drugs.

Meanwhile, a high level meeting of Jammu Joint student Federation (JJSF) was held at Samba under the chairmanship of its vice-chairman Sanjay Singh Slathia and President, JJSF, Pushvinder Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Slathia said that the time has come for the student community as well as the people of Jammu province to get united to fight against the discriminatory attitude of the state as well as central govt.
Pushvinder Singh said that JJSf is going to start a mass level agitation to fight for the cause of Jammu. The main issue to be raised during the agitation includes the appointment of Vice-Chancellor for Jammu Central University, action against present Chief Minister for his anti-national and anti-state remarks.
The meeting was also addressed by Chairman JJSF, GDC, Samba, Kusum Khajuria, Parvinder Singh Sambyal, Babar Singh Sambyal, Ajay Singh Sambyal, Sanjay Sharma, Lucky Singh.
Other prominent leaders present on the occasion include Pawan Singh Slathia, Ranjit Singh Charak, Rajeshwar Singh. Pardeep Singh.
