| Legal awareness camp held | | |
KALAKOTE : In the connection with the celebration of Diamond Jubilee of High Court a mega legal awareness camp and lok adalat was organized in court complex by tehsil legal services committee here today. Chairman distt legal services authority. Brij Mohan Gupta Pr. Distt. and sessions judge Rajouri presided over the function. Mehmood Choudhary chairman tehsil legal services committee Munsiff, Kalakote an distt. mobile magistrate traffic Ashan Malik also participated. Among others bar President Inderjeet Sharma and bar members, P.O Shahid Mustaf Malik, I.C Police station Dharamsal, Sarpanches and panches were also present on the occasion, principal distt. and sessions Rajouri spoke on the occasion and highlighted the aims and objective of the legal services authority Act. On this occasion lok adalat also organized in which 36 cases were taken up out of which 22 cases were settled through negotiation reconciliation and medatition. Cases which are settled were 3 criminal cases 1 criminal misc. 15 cases of M.V Act and private complaint 3 were disposed off. A fine of Rs. 13,700 were relised on the spot.
