| Solo song contest on national integration held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA 20 NOV, As part of the series of programmes to celebrate Quami Ekta Week, a solo song competition on national integration was organised by the NSS Unit of Govt Degree College, Kathua. Principal Dr Ram Krishan who presided over the function laid emphasis on developing positive thinking among students as the same is missing in the present scenario of the society. There were 10 participants who presented their songs. Shivali Sharma, Mamta Sharma and baby Sharma were adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively Sourav Sharma were given consolation prizes. Prof Gopal Sharma Prof Assa Ram Sharma and Prof Deepika Sharma were the judges on the occasion. The programme was organized under the guidance of N.S.S. Programme officers Dr. C.P Sharma, Prof. Sumanesh and Prof Raj Kiran.
