Naveen Shiksha Kendra High School celebrates Annual Day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, NOV 20- Naveen Shiksha Kendra High School run by SAWERA NGO today celebrated annual day of the school in which Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr. Pawan Kotwal was the chief guest on the occasion . Placing emphasis on the need of the revival of moral education in schools, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr. Pawan Kotwal said that good education is one which inculcates moral and ethical values in students thereby helping in wholesome development of students to become worthy and law abiding citizens of the country. This was stated by Dr. Pawan Kotwal in an annual day function of On the occasion, Dr. Kotwal appreciated the efforts of the NGO in providing good education to the unprivileged class. He also appreciated the role of various distinguished persons from different walks of life who are contributing to the society through this noble endeavour. The students of the school presented colourful cultural programme which started with Saraswati Vandana. Dr. Gurmeet Singh, President of SAWERA in his address highlighted the achievements and problems of the school. Prof. M.R. Puri, Ex-Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu presided over the function. Guest of honour in the function were Director School Education Zahida Khan, Principal Government Medical College, Jammu Dr. Rajinder Singh, Commandant 166 Bn. CRPF Narinder Paul. Later, Dr. Kotwal and other guests of honour also planted plants in the premises of the school.
