Cooperative Public School organizes fancy dress competition | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, NOV 20-As a part of children day celebrations, the Cooperative Public High School, Ambphalla today organized a fancy dress competition in the premises of the school where primary and higher standard classes students participated. On the occasion, Headmaster of the school, Veenu Sharma was the chief guest. The dress competition was highly appreciated by the teaching, non-teaching, prominent personalities of the area besides parents of the students. During the function, the students also read the papers and threw light on the life of first Prime Minister of India Late Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru and said Pandit ji always work for the cause of children. He brought various revolutions in education sector and launched several schemes to reach the education in every nook and corner of the country. The students of various classes also presented a colourful cultural programme which was highly appreciated by the audience. In her welcome address, Mrs Sharma highlighted the activities of the school and apprised the gathering about the results brought by the students of high classes in the 2009-10 session. She emphasized the role of cooperative system and thanked the students and teachers in bringing a transformation in boosting the moral of the students.
