Lecturers demand regularization of incharge incumbents | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 20 A meeting of +2 lecturers forum, district Rajouri was held in Boys HSS Rajouri in which more then 200 lecturers and principals from all over the district participated. The meeting was presided over by Chief Education Officer Rajouri Sh. Gurcharan Singh and Sh. Bhader Singh principal DIET Rajouri, Iqbal Choudhary field advisor SIE Srinagar and Altaf Hussain CEO Kargil ,Saif Ali Chowhan Principal DIET Pampur and Mohd Jawaid Principal Shopyan Kashmir were the guests of honour. In the meeting, the lecturers stressed upon the government to regularize incharge incumbents and appealed the Chief Minister to intervene personally and implement the decision taken by him at Cabinet meeting in March. The lecturers also demanded the grant of running pattern in favour of lecturers, change of pay band and release of list of Sr. lecturers. The newly elected District President of the forum Abdul Rauf Dar announced his district body He nominated Rakesh Sharma as general secretary and Dr Abdul Rashid Manhas as senior vice President of the forum. Others nominated included Rita Sharma and Dr. Shiraz as vice presidents , Sanjeev Suri , Rakesh Gupta and Anil Kumar were appointed as Chief coordinator, Chief Advisor and Chief Organizer respectively. Rajesh Kumar and Abdul Khaliq were appointed as financial advisor. Fazal Hussain, Bansi Lal and Karnal Singh were appointed as joint secretaries. Tehsil units of the forum were also raised with Rayaz Malik, Javid Raina , Zahid Malik, Shabir Ch, Sudesh Kumar, Kewal Kumar and Swran Singh as Tehsil heads of the forum for Tehsil Rajouri, Darhal , Budhal, Kalakote, Sunderbani and Nowshera respectively. An advisory council of 13 members besides a discipline committee consisting of principal to look in to organizational discipline was also appointed. The Speakers, including Farooq Lone , Rakesh Kumar , Pawan Kumari , Anil Kumar, Inderjeet Sharma , Sanjeev Suri highlighted the working of Dar as President in past and hoped that he will leave no stone unturned to addressed the problems of lecturers at District and State level.
