| Mahajan visits remote villages | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER NAGROTA | NOV 3 The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) MLC Ved Mahajan along with a team of senior party leaders Baldev Slathia, Niraj Sharma, Devi Dass and others conducted extensive tour of more than half a dozen of remote villages of the Nagrota consutuency today. The villages visited by PDP leaders included Sailee, Barsoo, Jandrah, Patyari, Jambal etc and inspected a number of development of development works currently under execution with constituency funds of the MLC. At Barsoo, a vital road link, water reservoir a Dhakki and a Bouli are being constructed with an expenditure of Rs.2.30 lakhs, of which Rs.80,000 has been sanctioned by MLC Mahajan. On the demand of people of village Patyari and its surrounding areas, Mahajan sanctioned Rs.2 lakh from the constituency fund for construction a Dhakki and other related various civic works. A number deputation of the villagers called on PDP leaders during their tour and apprised them of their problems relating to augmentation of drinking water supply, improvement of power voltage roads and repairs of school buildings. Interacting the deputations Mahajna assured them all help from the party asked people to strengthen hands of the party patron. Mufti Mohd Sayeed with whose gigantic efforts peace and tranquility started coming in the state. Those who also joined the tour were Jagat Singh, Balwan Singh, Pritam Singh and Munshi Ram Naib Tehsildar.
