| Mystery shrouds bride's death at Sunderbani | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 20: A day after her marriage, a bride died under mysterious circumstances at her in-laws' house at Kalideh in Sunderbani, Rajouri, Friday. She was identified as Manju Bala, daughter of Chhattar Singh. She was married to Gulshan Kumar of Kalideh Thursday.
Police sources said while a function was on in Gulshan's house Friday, Manju's condition became serious. She was admitted to Sunderbani hospital from where she was referred to the GMC hospital, Jammu, but she died on the way. After post-mortem, the body was today handed over to her family members for last rites.
Sources said during initial investigation by police, it became known that she had consumed some poisonous substance. Police had registered a case in this connection.
