| Industrial labourers raise demands | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Nov 21: Industrial Labour Associations (ILA) has strongly criticized miserable plight of employees working in the industrial sector.
This was stated by President of Chenab Textile Industrial Worker Union Roop Lal while addressing a joint press conference of industrial labour associations who are fighting for justice and rights of the labour class. He said that labour class is an extremely exploited one since they are getting nothing in return of hardwork and labour they are putting in.
President of Chenab Textile Mill Mazdoor Union Asfaq Ahmad, President Chenab Textile Mill Workers Association Uttam Chand, Vice-President of SOIL Ram Pal Sharma, President of Chenab Textile Mill Worker Union Ramesh Singh and President of Bharat Small Arms Union Rattan Chand appealed government of Jammu and Kashmir to solve provident fund related problems of labourers. Leaders raised demands of increasing CPF rate to 9.5 percent, implementation of workers pension scheme, changing members of G.house committee and filling vacancies in the labour department.
