Four persons involved in smuggling of 10 bovine from here to Srinagar were arrested by he police here today.
As per reports Chanderkote police on a specific information seized two vehicles carrying bovine animals at a naka. Police party led by SHO, Nazir Ahmed Dar on spot arrested four persons namely Mohd. Sultan R/o Batote, Mohd Aarif, Mohd. Sadiq and Mohd Bashir all residents of Udhampur and took them to police station for interrogation. Police registered the case and seized both the vehicles No JK02t-8369 and JK02k-4097.
