| Relaxation in qualification for recruitment of constables hailed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 21: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) senior leader and MLA, Mohammad Sharief Niaz has welcomed the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah for granting relaxation in qualification bar for the recruitment of constables in police department.
The chief minister had recently announced relaxation in qualification bar from Matric to middle class standard for those aspiring for recruitment in police.
In a press statement issued here, Niaz has demanded special police recruitment drive in the erstwhile Doda district viz Kishtwar, Ramban and Doda districts .
He further demanded for issuance of orders in respect of the special police recruitment drive launched during the year 2007.
