| Mankotia conducts extensive constituency tour | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Udhampur, Nov 21: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) state president and MLA, Balwant Singh Mankotia conducted a day long extensive tour of Lander and Panchari area of his constituency. He was accompanied by officers of various departments. Addressing a series of public meetings at Karcha, Diggi, Lander, Latyar and Kultyar, Mankotia demanded establishment of Naibat at Lander area of Panchari block. He said that Naibat Panchari is about 40 km away from Lander and due to poor road connectivity it is not possible for a common man to reach Panchari Niabat headquarters. He said Lander area comprising about thirty revenue villages needs immediate establishment of new Niabat. Mankotia also laid the foundation stone of PHC building Lander which would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.57 Crore. He directed the R&B authorities to complete the building by the end of March. He also laid the foundation stone of Primary School building Sandy and PHE filtration Plant at Lander. He further added that this filtration plant with JE quarter would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 5 lakh. He also inspected the ongoing work of SC/ST hostel at Diggi which would be completed at a cost of Rs. 72.38 lakh and Government Higher Secondary School Lander four class rooms work which would be complete at a cost of Rs 37.24 Lakhs. Mankotia handed over order of New Mobil Primary School at Purani Buti to local public and also distribute checks of IAY& Social welfare to the deserving people. He announced new water supply scheme of estimated cost of Rs. 1.64 Crore for Lander area under NABARD Scheme.
