Kishtwar peoples progressive forum hold meeting

KISHTWAR, Nov 21:- The Kishtwar peoples progressive forum hold a meeting under the chairmanship of Noor Hussain Malik in which all the members of forum expressed concern over unchecked plying of outdated vehicles on the roads of Kishtwar posing threats to the lives of passengers.
In this connection, they passed resolution urging therein that the checks be laid on the vehicles, besides imposing ban on export of sheep/goats from Kishtwar to Srinagar alleging therein that the exporting of sheep / Goats from Kishtwar is causing scarcity of meat in Kishtwar. They also urged upon district administration to fix the rate of chicken and meat besides issued directions to chicken sellers to ensure the purchase from local poultry farms. The others who attended the meeting includes Madan Lal Sharma, Ghulam Hussan Naik, Shabir Ahmed Najar, Ghulam Haider Giri, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Shadi Lal Parihar, Dr Shabir Ahmad Mattoo and Ghulam Mohd Beg.
