| Disaster Management course of Aux Police held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, NOV 21- ADGP Aux Police Mr. S. Gopal Reddy inaugurated the Ist batch of Disaster Management Course (MFR-CSSR) comprising of 40 trainees of Aux/HG/CD department at PTTI Vijaypur here today.
Commandant 2nd Bn Aux/HG Mr. Deepak Slathia and SP Aux Police Mr. Abdul Gani Choudhary were present at the occasion. In addition, the officers/officials of NDRF from various units were also present.
The ADGP Aux/HG/CD while addressing the participants completely briefed about the importance of the Disaster Management Course. He also briefed about different types of disasters which include Earth quake, Flood, Landslide, Avalanches, Fire, Cyclone/Tsunami, Road Accidents and Man made disaster like Radiological, Biological, Chemical and Industrial etc.
ADGP also stressed the need of attention towards the course so that services of participants can be utilized for the welfare of society. In addition to this he also released work book related to the Disaster Management course. He has also inspected the stocks which are required for imparting practical training to the trainees.
Principal PTTI Vijaypur Mr. Rajnesh Pran Sharma in his speech also briefed the participants about the disaster management and thanked the VIP for inaugurating the course.
