| Bharti tops in divisional level seminar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, Nov 21:- Bharti Shishu, a teacher of Government Girls High School, Garhi was adjudged as best speaker in a divisional level teacher’s science seminar on the topic “International Year of Bio-Diversity 2010-11” organized by State Institute of Education (SIE), Jammu recently.
Second position was bagged by Shaguna Khajuria of Higher Secondary School , Salmeri in district Udhampur while as Mr. Vikrant Sharma of High School, Rajouri and Poonam Makhnotra of Government Middle School, Nagrota jointly shared the third position in the contest.
As many as 32 teachers who have secured different positions at the district level seminar organized by the respective District Institutes of Education and Trainings participated in the divisional level competition and expressed their views on the topic.
The Principal SIE, Jammu who was the chief guest on the occasion appreciated the performance of the prize winning teachers and hoped that they would also excel at state and National level events to be organized in near future.
It is pertinent to mention here that Miss Bharti Shishu was also got first prize in the District Level Science seminar (DLSS) was organized by the District Institute of Education and Training, Udhampur (Kud) at Government Girls Higher Secondary, Udhampur during the month of October, 2010.
