Massive manhunt in Delhi for 3 J&K militants | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 21: A massive manhunt has been launched across the union capital in search for three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants, who are suspected to have sneaked into Delhi from J&K. The inputs in this regard were given to the Delhi police special cell by information bureau (IB), official sources said. An alert was sounded in Delhi, sources added, saying special cell sleuths had fanned across the national capital in search for the suspected militants. Sources identified them as Bilal Ahmed Beigh, Ibrahim Sheikh and Shahjahan, believed to be hailing from Pampore in Kashmir. They were spotted in a busy locality in the capital following which police had stepped up their vigil. Posters with their photographs were pasted across Delhi during the past two days, asking people to immediately contact police in case they happened to see them. Posters had come up at places like Pragati Maidan where a large number of people were converging for the India International Trade Fair (IITF). Last Sunday, Delhi police had apprehended Abdullah Inquilabi, LeT commander for Jammu region, from south Delhi's IIT area. He hails from Muzaffarabad in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Investigators said they were probing whether the suspected terrorists were in touch with Inquilabi. Inquilabi had stayed at two-three places in Delhi before he was arrested.
