| ‘State progressing under leadership of Omar’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur NOV 22:In view of forthcoming civic and panchayat elections, a meeting of the workers of National Conference was held here under the chairpersonship of Rahul Jandial to chalk out a strategy for strengthening party at gross root level
Speaking on the occasion, Jandial stated that massive development was taking place under the leadership of Omar Abdullah in the State after coming in power .He added that the development and progress which is taking place in every field presently in short span was never witnessed even past thirty years during previous regime.
He lauded the development and progress shown by National conference led Government in J&K and asked the party workers to highlight the achievements of Omar Government and carry the programmes and policies of the Party among the masses. He thanked Omar Abdullah for sanctioning amount for installation of CT scan machine for district hospital which was a long awaited demand of locals and hoped that it would be shortly installed within months time . He also criticized other political parties for claiming credit of CT scan machine .
Jandial gave a patient hearing to the problems of workers and general people and assured the people that all their problems will be brought to the notice of the concerned authorities for earlier redressal. He also appealed workers for party consensus candidate in forthcoming civic election for over all development of area
