| People protest against Muncipal Kathua, hold MLA responsible | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua Nov 22: The resenting people of the wards 1 and 3 of Kathua today accused the MLA Charanjeet Singh and Municipal Kathua for adopting negligent attitude towards addressing the problems of people which have been created due to the unplanned development of the college road by the ERRA due to which all the entrance mouth of the wards have closed and blocked.
They staged protest demonstration by blocking the college road. They further said that the entire wastewater of the drains is in fluxing and collecting inside the residents of the wards 1and 3 and this poisonous and polluted water spreading the bad smell and communicable disease like malaria, cholera jaundice and etc.
They said that in concern of this problems they had approached many times to Municipal Kathua and MLA Charanjeet Singh but both responsible authorities seemed handicapped to curb the problem by dealing with the road development agency due to which more than ten thousand people are made to suffer from various kinds of fatal diseases and other kinds of risks of accidents.
They protesting people warned the MLA Kathua, Municipal Council and district administration to get ready to face the dire consequences if the problem is not solved within stipulated periods.
In the protest demonstration Ramesh Chander,. Ravinder Pathania, Harpreet Singh Sethi, Suresh, Taro Devi, Bimla, Pollu, Pamma, Zorawar Singh, Sanju, Ajay, Sanjay, Manju, participated.
