| Outside elements beat Kathua students in College premises | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua Nov 22: The Govt Degree College Kathua administration proved handicapped and helpless against the entering of outside elements in the college premises who use anti social and anti student attitudes to threaten the college students.
In one such incident today, the some outsiders who forcibly entered the college premises openly beat up the students.
The big fight emerged in the premises of the GDC Kathua when a group of outsiders forcibly entered the college and started to beat the students of the college just before the office of the college administration.
The security personnel posted at entrance gate of the college did not do any action to control the fight while the security person deputed for the purpose of the security of the students failed to make the proper checking up of outsiders.
The district president of NSUI S. Paramjeet Singh (Pamma) has accused the college administration for making such kinds of activities in which most of the students are threatened by the outsiders and in this concern the NSUI had already met with Kathua administration but like college administration the Kathua administration too stood exposed as inefficient and negligent to control the entering of unwanted elements in the collge premises.
He said that the NSUI had urged the district and college administration to take a serious notice and action to secure the lives of college students other wise there no doubt that a big incident can occur anytime.
