About hundreds of transport workers and owners associated with Food Corporation of India (FCI) hold a protest demonstration against the mismanagement prevailing in the FCI here today. According to press release transporters are demanding immediate transformer of present SRM who ahs totally disrupted the set up in the corporation. Due to this Govt. is loosing crores of rupees and works in dictorial manner and urges that investigation should be done through CBI. According to handout the present SRM is bent upon to crash entire transport industry. The earlier SRM was doing the job smoothly and crores of rupees saved and there was no delaying tactics, which is being practiced at present. As per release transporters have appealed union minister Sharad Pawar and Chief Minister Ghulam Nqaabi Azad to come their rescue and save the industry and FCI from downfall, which will effect adversely thousands of souls they urged that present incumbendent he transferred and new and honest officver posted in hois plaace soon.
