| VHP resents militants’ rehabilitation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 23: The State Unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has resented the State cabinet decision on approving rehabilitation policy to grant amnesty to the militants and facilitate their return and give financial aid to them.
Talking to media persons here today, VHP president Dr Ramakant Dubey said, “It’s unfortunate that the persons who have gone for training to fight with the forces will now be settled in J&K as per the cabinet decision”.
‘It’s ironic that such decision will endanger the security of the state’, he said, questioning, ‘Who will take the guarantee for the militants who will be settled under this so called rehabilitation policy’.
Dr Dubey said, “Instead of rehabilitating the nationalist refugees of Pok and West Pakistan, considering the genuine demands of Govt employees and others, this coalition govt has show more concern for the rehabilitation of cross over militants which will resulted into serious repercussions”.
VHP president categorically said that VHP and other nationalists of Jammu and Kashmir will protest this decision tooth and nail.
