| NSUI welcomes Ayurveda College for Jammu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 23: National Student’s Union of India (NSUI) has welcomed the Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for announcing Ayurvedic College for Jammu and Unani College for Srinagar. Addressing media persons here today, NSUI State general secretary Varun Magotra said that NSUI stood with the decision of Ghulam Nabi Azad for doing justice with both the regions. He added that Ayurvedic College was the long pending demand. He also hailed Azad for announcing drug control authority sub office for Jammu. Magotra also raised the demands of increasing MBBS seats in Jammu Medical colleges so as to facilitate more of J&K students to become doctor. He added that Govt should give prime importance to medical care in rural and backward areas and appealed the Union Health Minister to organize National health fare in Jammu. He also raised the demands of unemployed ITI diploma holders and appealed PM, Sonia Gandhi to provide suitable adjustments. Among others who were present in the press conference included Malik Behzad Ali, Abhishek Koudhal, Amit Singh, Junaid and Tejinder Singh.
