Three hours chakka jam to protest government’s policies | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 23: In view of the party's scheduled ‘Chakka Jaam’ to be observed for three hours on November 27, BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas, held meeting with the office bearers of BJP SC Morcha and Yuva Morcha at party headquarters today. In a press statement issued here today, Manhas said the decision of the party to observe ‘Chakka Jaam’ has been taken against the un-constitutional utterances of Omar Abdullah, continuous discrimination with the Jammu as also avoiding and not effecting fresh ‘delimitation’ of constituencies. The recent example, Manhas stated is the rehabilitation of the militants that is the youth who took to arms against the state and the country and left for Pakistan and PoK for acquiring talents to attack on National Security Forces besides murdering civilians, including women and children. Terming three hours Chakka Jam as symbolic protest exhibiting struggle for justice and nationalism, Manhas said that Jammu has been suffering discrimination and deprivation continuously since 1947 at the hands of valley based ruling combine. The meeting was attended by Yuva Morcha President Munish Sharma, SC Morcha Prabhari Bansi Lal Bharti, SC Morcha President Chaman Lal Kanathia and BJP State Press Secretary Balbir Ram.
