| GOC 26 Inf. Division briefs Governor | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, NOV 23 – The General Officer Commanding, 26 Infantry Division, Maj. Gen. T. P. S. Waraich, met the Governor N. N. Vohra, at Raj Bhavan here today and briefed him about the security situation in the area of his responsibility.
During their discussions, the Governor and the GOC reviewed issues relating to the pattern of infiltrations from across the International Border and Line of Control and discussed various other issues relating to the overall security environment in the area.
This was Maj Gen. Waraich’s first meeting with the Governor after taking over as the GOC, 26 Infantry Division, a few months ago.
