| Wage hike for 57,000 anganwari persons in JK | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 23 Jammu and Kashmir government today ordered enhancement by Rs 300 and Rs 200 in monthly honorarium for Anganwari workers and Anganwari helpers respectively from this month.
Minister of Social Welfarre Sakina Itoo said this would benefit about 57,000 persons engaged in implementing social welfare schemes.
The Minister said that government has also enhanced the state share of monthly pension under National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) from Rs 125 to Rs 200 from this month in respect various other schemes.
