| Micky chairs general purpose committee meeting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU NOV 23- A meeting of general purpose committee was today held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, Arvinder Singh Micky to discuss modalities for construction of new legislature complex in Jammu.
The meeting deliberated upon various issues with regard to the construction besides suggesting several measures for design of the complex involving all latest technical innovations.
The meeting emphasized the need of equipping the new complex with common library, joint restaurant and health centre besides provision for further expansion of staff, Accounts Officer etc. and space for liason officer for Council.
Legislators, Mohammad Yousuf Taing, Sheikh Ghulam Rasool, Bashir Ahmad Margay, Naresh Kumar Gupta, Sayeed Asgar Hussain and Vijay Bakaya, besides Secretary, Legislative Council, Abdul Rashid Mir and other senior officers of Council Secretariat attended the meeting.
