| Status of revenue realization discussed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, Nov 23- In the backdrop of instruction issued by the Chief Minister through his Principal Secretary, the District Development Commissioner Baseer Ahmed Khan convened a meeting of concerned officers to discuss annual action plan and progress achieved in revenue realization by various government departments here today.
Chief Planning Officer, executive engineers of PHE, Sub-Transmission Division, Divisional Forest Officer, Social Forestry, revenue officers and officers of different departments attended the meeting.
It was disclosed in the meeting that progress of the revenue realization by different departments was quite satisfactory. However, the officers of these departments were instructed to put in their dedicated efforts in the realization of outstanding revenue in a time bound frame so that targets of each department are fulfilled.
It was apprised that under Electric M&RE Division, Udhampur, a target to the tune of Rs 50.69 crore was fixed for current financial year out of which Rs 29.39 crore has been realised as revenue by the department ending October 2010. The Irrigation Division Udhampur has collected 60 percent revenue of the total target this financial year so far.
