| Over 1 lakh disbursed among poor, needy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU:Nov 23 The Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha today disbursed over Rs 1,11150 among destitutes, widows, students and other needy persons of the Mahajan community as financial aid to keep alive the mission of L. Hans Raj Mahajan, a social leader and founder of Central Mahajan Sabha.
The disbursement committee was headed by Romesh Chander Gupta, President Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha. Other members of the committee included Dr. Sudesh C. Gupta, Chander Mohan Gupta, Dr. Mohan Lal Gupta, Rajinder Gupta, Rattan Lal Gupta, Romesh Chander Gupta, Nand Lal Gupta, Vinod Gupta and Ravi Rohemtra. Patron Jagmohan Khanna, Satish Chander Gupta and Rakesh Gupta Ward Presidents were also present on the occasion.
The recipients were informed that the next installment of the financial aid would be given in January 2011.
