BJP appeals people to observe bandh

JAMMU, Nov 24: To oppose the policies of coalition government, the State BJP has decided to observe complete bandh and chakka jam for three hours on November 27.
The BJP appealed the transporters, businessmen, shopkeepers and educational institutions to fully cooperate and make the bandh successful
It was stated by BJP said State President Shamsher Singh Manhas, while addressing a press conference at party headquarters along with State General Secretary Sat Sharma and State Spokesperson Ramesh Arora.
Manhas warned the state government especially State Chief Minister Omar Abdullah either to withdraw anti-Jammu and anti-India policies or should leave the chair. Recent stand about creating dispute of Accession by saying that it was not merger with India and further the policy of rehabilitation of terrorists presently residing in Pakistan and PoK is condemnable.
Manhas said that government has not taken any step to rehabilitate migrants, refugees inspite of the fact that their basic human rights are ignored and violated by the state authorities. Kashmir centric approach is responsible for rehabilitation policy of secessionists and separatists and even Congress has joined NC. BJP has decided to boycott all functions which are chaired or attended by Chief Minister of the state and Congress ministers from Jammu.
Manhas appealed to public to stand united against the discriminatory and anti-Jammu and Ladakh policies. He said BJP will start massive agitation to get rid from such Chief Minister and Jammu based local leaders who are instrumental to anti-Jammu policies. Meanwhile, victory celebration of BJP’s Bihar assembly poll was organized at party hqrs. Amidst drum beats and crackers firing, the jubilant leaders and activists of BJP celebrated the splendid victory of NDA in Bihar assembly polls. They were seen congratulating and distributing sweets at party hqrs.
