| MVIANS shine in 18th National Children Science Congress | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu Nov 24: The MV International School, Vijaypur was declared the best team in the 18th National Children Science Congress 2010 organised by Sarna Nehru Youth Club, Samba, an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology affiliated to Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (Govt of India), at Chambyal Model High School Nud- Samba. It was record achievement that both the teams from MV International School were adjudged first who will now represent at State Level in December 2010. The focal theme of NCSC-2010 was ‘land resources’: Use for prosperity, Save for posterity. The Chairman of the school H.L Abrol along with the Director Gourav Abrol congratulated the young scientists and motivated them for their best performance at state level. The teams were guided by the Rama Jamwal, vice principal & Project Guide Satbir Kour . Dr Khem Raj Sharma was district coordinator. The theme of team was use of polythene- a step towards disastrous future. Team leader was Shruti Rawat and participants were Sonia slathia, Kokila Jamwal, Nidhi Sharma, Priyanka Dogra and Yazavinder Singh. The theme of Team B was Save Planet Earth. Team leader was Jeevika and participants were Archana Sharma, Ashutosh Khajuria, Himani Khajuria, Marvi Slathia and Preeti Sharma.
