| Quami Ekta week ends | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA Nov 25: The NSS volunteers of Government Degree College, Kathua organized a valedictory function of the Quami Ekta Week, here today.
Addressing on the occasion, the N.S.S programme officer Dr. C.P Sharma, Prof. Sumanesh and Prof. Raj Kiran said that the main objective of the celebration of the “Quami Ekta Week” was to strengthen the national integration and communal harmony among the people through students of the country, They said during six days of celebration, various activities such as solo song competition, slogan writing competition, postermaking, symposium on women empowerment were held by the NSS activists.
On the occasion, Dr Ram Murthy was the chief guest, Rtd SP Sardar Khan was the guest of honour and the function was presided over by the principal of GDC Kathua Dr Ram Krishan.
Later, awards were distributed among the winning teams.
