| Football: Young Warriors beat Jammu Sports 1-0 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, November 26: Young Warriors defeated Jammu Sports-B by a solitary goal in the ongoing Junior Division League Football Tournament under the banner of Jammu wing of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at Mini Stadium Parade here.
Young forward, Palpreet Singh netted the all important goal in the 23rd minute to guide his side to an important win against fighting Jammu Sports side. However, in the second half, Jammu Sports-B played good game but could not materialize their moves.
Meanwhile, other two scheduled matches of the day ended in walkovers. While Hero Club got walkover Blue Diamond, Param Football Club awarded walkover Khore Club.
Today’s matches were officiated by Harneet Singh (centre), Vinay Mooman, Sanjay Kumar and Manpreet Singh.
