| All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers Forum organizes conference | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 26: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers Forum has organized a day long Educational conference at Sunderbani, Rajouri district in which about 100 delegates drawn from various Institutions of the district discussed at length the challenges of Education in the present scenario. They however expressed their suggestive proposals for the betterment of Education particularly in the rural and far-flung areas of the State.
The conference was presided over by OP Sharma Principal Higher Secondary School Sunderbani and Mohinder Singh Deputy Chief Education Officer, Rajouri was the Chief Guest.
The speakers also raised their voice on the confronting issues that include Regularization of Incharge incumbents, benefit of running pattern, placement of cadre in Pay Band No 3 and Re- organization of the Department, besides release of orders for placement of Lecturers to the rank of Senior Lecturer and Gazetted Recruitment rules.
H.D Qureshi, the State President of the Forum while addressing the Educational Conference appealed the delegates to re- double their efforts for achieving the goal of “Academic Excellence“ and also to equip themselves with the knowledge of Computer in their life to be closer with the modern technology of present world.
He expressed his full faith on the sincere initiatives of Minister of Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed and Commissioner Education Naseema Lankar for resolve of genuine issue of the Cadre and informed the participating delegates that the State Chief Minister has also assured the Forum for clearance of backlog of Regularization through State Cabinet as “ One Time Exception” the decision for which has already been taken by the Cabinet on March 29, besides all other issues are under the active consideration of the Government.
Qureshi also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minster Omar Abdullah and Minister for Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed for assigning the prestigious responsibility as Head of Department in Jammu Division to Gulzar Qureshi who is known for honesty, dedication and transparent approach in his working.
