| MAM College organises seminar on national integration | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 26: A function in connection with the conclusion of the National Integration and Communal Harmony week from November 19 to 25 was held the other day.
Apart from the week long celebrations a seminar on National Integration and Communal Harmony was the main function of the day. The week is celebrated throughout the country for spreading the message of Communal Harmony and National Integration.
Prof (Dr) Ajeet Angral, Principal of the College was the Chief Guest on the occasion. While delivering his presidential address he called upon the students to spread the message of national integration and communal harmony to each and every corner of the state as the state is passing through challenging circumstances.
While appreciating the commitment of NSS Programme Officer Unit-II Dr R K Bhat, he encouraged the NSS Unit-II to have these programmes on much larger scales in future as the theme is relevant and most pressing in the present scenario.
The volunteers presented their paper on the theme. Nikhil Khajuria of B.Sc. Part- I. Suraj Chalotra of B. Sc. Part-I and Mohd. Shakir of B.A. Part-I were adjudged 1st 2nd & 3rd speaker respectively, while Jatinder Singh of BBA Part-I was given the consolation prize. On the occasion Prof. Neelu Gupta Prof. Urmila Rani & Prof. Yasmin Mughal acted as the members of the jury for evaluating the students,
