| Gandhian Studies Centre, MAM Coll organizes quiz contest | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 26: The Gandhian Studies Centre of Govt M.A.M. College organized a quiz competition on the topic ‘Life and Teaching of Mahatma Gandhi'. The Quiz comprised of three rounds which included a visual one also. Six teams participated in the competition wherein there were interesting queries on the life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi. The motive of the Quiz was to 'propagate Gandhian philosophy amongst the youth of today. The quiz was conducted by the volunteers of Gandhian Studies Centre namely Abdul Qayoom, Imtiaz Ahmed and Rahul Kundal.
Dr. Ajeet Angral, Principal of the college in his welcome address exhorted the students to aware themselves about the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi and imbibe Gandhian Philosophy for a just and humane social rider.
Prof. N.K.Tripathi, Dean Students Welfare, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest. He applauded the effc)l'ts of the Principal and the centre to have organized such a meaningful programme. He further stated that such programmes are eye openers and channelize the energy of our stakeholders helping them in their further career and placement. The teams - Shanti, Swaraj and Swadesh bagged the first, second and third prizes respectively. The Quiz show was anchored by Sahil Ravgotra. Dr. Twinkle Suri, Director, Gandhian Studies Centre gave the formal vote of thanks.
