KPC communicates request to government to safeguard Dharamshala

Jammu, Nov 26: In its communication to State Chief Minister, Chief Secretary and Director General Police of Uttrakhand Kundan Kashmiri “KPC” chief has appealed them to intervene to get Gauri Shankar Dharamshala at Haridwar vacated from some local elements who have forcibly occupied it from sometime and refuse to vacate the said Dharamshala even after long persuasion by the Kashmiri pundit leaders.
KPC chief also appealed influential and prominent citizens of Haridwar city to intervene and get issue settled amicably.
Kundan Kashmiri also appealed community brethern particularly its organisational leaders and youths to come forward and form a strong and powerful committee to deal with the religious properties of Kashmiri Pandit community at Haridwar , Kashmir valley or elsewhere in the country.
Earlier talking to KPC unit activists of Pune which include Sanjay Kaw , Umil Wali, Dileep Raina, Sunil Bhat and others, Kundan Kashmiri vehemently criticized state and centre policies towards Kashmir and termed ill conceived rehabilitation policy for militants and removal of bunkers from the sensitive places in the Kashmir valley particularly in Srinagar city which it said could prove counter productive for the safety and security of the J&K State .
Highlighting the problems of KP youths and encroachment of Kashmiri Pandits properties and land including of shrines and temples, Kundan Kashmiri warned Government not to ignore or take KP youths for granted who believe in peace and not in stone pelting and damaging the Govt. property .
If Govt. continue to ignore the KP youth, they will be forced to resort to violent and agitational course of action to get their problems and demands mitigated ,for which Govt.will be solely responsible.
